About the role
LocalMinds is a community platform that brings like-minded people together through curated small-group coffee meetups. The Community and Venue Operations Intern manages communication with attendees, coffee houses, community leads, and operational partners, including venue coordination, coffee house onboarding, ManyChat campaigns, attendee support through WhatsApp and Instagram, meetup reminders, live meetup check-ins, and community feedback.
What you'll do
- Coordinate with coffee houses on attendance, table setup, and venue readiness
- Provide WhatsApp and Instagram support for booking, payment, and cancellation questions
- Coordinate meetup leads before, during, and after each meetup
- Send campaigns and reminders through ManyChat and Wati
- Track community feedback and prepare a weekly report
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and spoken Arabic and English
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, Instagram, ManyChat, dashboards, and spreadsheets
- Available during evenings and weekends
- Experience in customer service, community management, events, or partnerships preferred
