Privacy Policy

Balesh operates in Jordan and Egypt and aims to handle your data in line with Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law and Egypt's Data Protection Law. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

You provide: name, email, country, education, interests, skills, and any CV or application content you create.

We generate: your readiness and match scores, and a behavioural activity log (which roles you view, search, and apply to) used to operate and improve Balesh.

We don't sell your personal data.

To run your account, show you relevant internships, let you apply, compute your readiness and fit, and improve our matching and product. Aggregated, non-identifying trends (e.g. in-demand skills per field) may inform features and insights — these don't identify you individually.

Employers see your profile and application only when you apply to them. Service providers (hosting, email, AI processing) handle data on our behalf under contract. We don't share your data otherwise except where required by law.

When you use the CV engine, the relevant text is sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions. We send only what's needed for the feature and don't include unrelated personal data.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data. Deleting your account removes your profile and disassociates your activity log. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards as required for legal and operational purposes, then delete or anonymise it.
